Camos dome satellite stopped working
We have a Camos dome on our 2008 MH, installed by Solar Solutions down in Poole. The Freesat receiver died maybe 18 months ago, so I bought and fitted a new one. Now the whole setup has died again - just out of the blue. The satellite controller spins and seemingly locks onto the correct satellite, but no signal is being passed on to the receiver.
It's hard to believe the receiver has gone wrong again, but I am loathe to start replacing items without any real means to verify what is at fault. Is there an expert company that will service/repair these kinds of installations, within easy reach of Berkshire? I know that Rhino Installs can take on this kind of thing, but we are outside their footprint. I am seeing a few other posts that suggest a software upgrade may be required. I guess the system failed about three months ago, so not sure if that timing coincides with issues others may be experiencing.

WARNING.!!... The above post may contain an opinion
Academia and government artificially select for particular traits, among which is a lack of life experience. This is why it's possible for a person to be exceptionally bright while failing to grasp something as rudimentary as supply and demand.

Roadpro are the people to contact. They are extremely helpful and have taken me through advice on the phone whilst I was sitting in the van pressing the appropriate buttons on the system.
Good Luck

Have you tried the phone type connector in the back of the box is pushed in fully. Ours had same fault and I found a loose connection. Pushed it till it clicked and it's fine now.
Be seeing you! No. 6
