Coverage in EU with EE based sim?

My home BB is with plusnet n they're offering deals on mobile SIMs. Their mobile provider is EE.

Anyone used an EE sim abroad? What are the provider partners like?

EE are what used to be called Orange.
My account is with Orange France, I find the coverage in France to be the best of the providers here and very good (4G).
My account gives me two SIM's, one for phone and a data only one for the MIFI.
I'm currently in Norway and have been surprised and impressed by the coverage given by their partners here.
On the journey to Norway I had excellent coverage in Belgium, Germany, Denmark and Sweden, virtually all of the time at 4G.
The only strange thing I have noticed is that whilst the phone always keeps its signal, the MIFI (Netgear) doesn't drop its signal but loses internet access, which requires the unit to be turned off and restarted, this doesn't happen if you are continuously using it but when just connected with no flow. Never experienced that whilst in France.

Now don't know if that will be an answer to your query or not but if EE use the same partner arrangement as Orange France then I think you'll find them excellent.

Yes John. At least in France our friends usually get a signal with Orange when we don't with sfr or Bouygues.

Have used EE for years in all the countries mentioned above and never had a 'No Signal' indication.

Ted.
I try and state simple facts in a nice way.

And have you any experience in Spain and Portugal?

My sim is EE and I've used it recently in both Spain and Portugal and had no complaints about data or phone. I'm sure there are dead spots but I certainly didn't notice them.

Ha! I've been checking how good it would be abroad - just discovered it's likely to be pretty lousy at home!

So that's put paid to that. Pity, because they assured me that I could roam for up to 3mths at a time.

Do you mean Belfast or wider than that? EE (along with it's sister networks Plusnet and BT) is supposed to have one of the best coverages in Belfast.
