Unlocking a TP-LINK

I have an Internet 3 12GB sim for Hans to use when he is in hospital I don't know how long 12GB will last It says for a year, but depends what its used for.

Anyway up this Wifi I have had for years only works in Germany, which is OK for the hospital, but it would be nice if I could unlock it for all countries.

It´s a TP-LINK M5-5850AE. I have looked on the internet, but can´t find anything about unlocking it.
Anyone know how please?

I'm Jan

Any help Jan...………………

I have a TP-Link M5350 3G mobile Wi-Fi unit and assume it will work on whoevers SIM is used.
i.e. if I use a Portuguese SIM it works in Portugal and likewise a French or UK SIM.

Thanks Ray , but

its in Portuguese why are they so slow when they explain things, I like them to tell me what to do one step at a time without all the gabble.

Anyway I will look at it later maybe I can make head or tail of it when I have more time.

I have found the little book that came with it with the web & help in English, so hopefully I will be able to understand it. Panic over.

Yep, when all else fails, read the book. I found it quite simple and sticking a friends French Data SIM in it worked here.
Access code on the back and log in and off you go.

Its not the destination that matters.

It's who you share the journey with (even if like me, it’s in a caravan!)
I am very fortunate to have Mrs Plodd to share mine with
