Avtex tv

Hi everyone,
I am trying to play iplayer ect from my android phone to my 6 month old Avtex tv BUT when l connect the Hdmi ect cables I get a QR code on the screen.
Can anyone tell me please what app l need to use to read the code or any other way we can get round the situation, any comments would be much appreciated thank you.

if all you require is a qr code reader there are plenty available on the google play store

Some phones come with a QR code as an option under the "camera" options, if there is not one then finding a QR code reader free of charge in the App Store is easy - I did it so it must be !

I have yet to set up my Avtex so thanks for the "heads up" but I would second contacting them as they are extremely helpful and concerned that purchasers get the best out of their TV - I contacted them about a 24 year old one and they said "Wow that's an old' up but of course we'll help " and they did.....

I stream Netflix to my Samsung S5 with a lead like this one for an S7, never had an Avtex, but you might need a powered lead like this.

Which phone do you have as they all deal with HDMI streaming in different ways.

Like this Ray, it's the modern barcode but supposed to be more secure.
