Agree Alan. I do feel an ejet when I just could have looked back. Plus Toggle has now replied to my queries saying exactly the same as you have.
Ta.
Last leg home now.

Ray.

The FSA formerly SIB & PIA licensed a twice convicted fraudster to handle our life´s savings. Guess what? He robbed us of £750,000. So they changed their name again to the FCA.

Gotta give credit where it's due now.
Thanks to Erneboy I have had the Toggle SIM for 18 months now and apart from a couple of errors on my part it's worked well for the odd call for my wife and the cost so far has been £4. Yes we don't use the phone much for chatting but just as a handy keep in contact for my wife when we are apart.
Thanks Alan.!

Hope you might advise here Alan.
Our Toggle SIM has been in my wifes non smart phone for years now and great. But she now feels the need to keep using Whatsapp on my smart phone.
I was wondering if I put the Toggle SIM into an old (slightly) smart phone would it run up the cost using Whatsapp off Wi-Fi and would it be enough to worry about?

Hello Ray. I think Toggle data is going to be a lot more expensive than a local sim would be. Is the android dual sim?

My phone is Android and is dual sim, so I use Toggles with a local number for all my calls and a local sim for data. I think Toggle charge 15p a mb for data. I don't know how much data Whats App uses but you could always find out by trying it.

You probably remember that to check your Toggle balance you dial *131#. Do that then run What's App for an hour or two sending a couple of messages and check again. Then you'll know.

I prefer the local sim. It gives me 3gb a month for €5 and any data I don't use id rolled over and can be used at any time as long as I top up once a month. I rarely use more that 1Gb so probably have another 100 I can use any time I might need it. Or not.

Brexiters. It's your sh1t now. Whatever happens nationally and internationally you own it. I wish you luck. I think you're going to need all you can get and then some. Friday 13th December 2019.

Thanks Alan. I'm not sure we are going to change over as my wife has trouble remembering to charge her non smart once a week. Charging the smart every day will I'm sure mean it's flat more than live.
But yes I will have to suck it and see monitoring the usage. I log onto my Toggle customer account every other month as the usage is so small.

Thanks again.

Just checked on my smart phone and Whatsapp in constant use has only used 500KB in ten days. So very small data usage compared with Chrome, Mail, Google, etc.
So I guess I will risk it as long as my wife can keep it charged.

I've looked and if you try to find their international roaming countries, Portugal doesn't show only Spain.
