When you start up the vehicle the screen should show the Tomtom logo, if it doesnít it probably isnít a TT.

Go online to the Tomtom website, they have a page where you can check what will and will not work on your TT.

I have an 8 year old stand alone TT that will run the camper map set. My 4 year old car with built in TT wonít run the mapset. Ludicrous isnít it.

My stand-alone has free lifetime updates, the built in one cost about £60 a year to keep up to date!

Its not the destination that matters.

It's who you share the journey with (even if like me, itís in a caravan!)
I am very fortunate to have Mrs Plodd to share mine with

Find out which model of TT is fitted to your MH. Then go onto the TT website. There is a facility to check if your particular model will run the Camper map system BEFORE you purchase them.
You will probably find that there is an SD card secreted somewhere that you need to insert into a computer in order to download the map set onto it.

I would strongly suggest that you contact Autotrail and ask them.
1. Which particular TT unit is fitted to your vehicle (so you know what to search for on the TT website)
2. Where the SD card is located.

When I ran a MH (7.5m long) I never bothered with the camper map set as the standard car mapset, coupled to a bit of common sense, was more than adequate. Now I have a car and caravan thatís 12.5m long the situation is a bit different.

In your situation I wouldnít bother with the camper maps, they are VERY expensive and need updating each year.

I have the correct instructions on how to do this direct from Autotrail if you would like them.

Message me your email address if you can and I'll gladly send them to you.
