Parking up at Pembroke/Fishguard - late arrival

Hi there,

we are planning to go landbridge, via UK, to Germany later this year and haven't yet decided which port, Pembroke or Fishguard, to sail into. However my question is which of the two would be best to park up at after arriving on the late ferry. ( arriving around 00:45 ). Just want a few hours rest before heading onward. Is it ok to park in front of the terminal at Pembroke for example ? Any suggestions appreciated. Thanks.

We live near Fishguard, there should be no problem parking in the car-park just outside the terminal entrance at that time of the night. Also there is a large car-park used by HGV just behind the Tesco Express also at the terminal entrance.

I've used the carpark at Fishguard for a wildcamp. Lots of trucks use it as well and we felt perfectly safe.

Shame you're not arriving till late as there is a chippy close by and a good garage supermarket just across the road.

I'm not signing anything.

The two impulses in travel are to get away from home, and the other is to pursue something - a landscape, people, an exotic place. Certainly finding a place that you like or discovering something unusual is a very sustaining thing in travel.
