Travel to france and Spain?

Friends of ours have a house in Provęnce and drove there a couple of weeks ago. I wondered if anyone has done that in their MH yet?
They told me that they spent hours online to get the necessary paperwork and had to pay over £500 for these stupid tests.

I see, although I think we should all do our best to keep ourselves and others as safe as possible, £500 seem a bit OTT though.

PCR should be free. https://www.gov.uk/get-coronavirus-test

Lateral flow kits are a few quid

So where is the £500 going?

Quite likely the O.P. is referring to the return to the UK and the requirement for the 10 day isolation and double test, that regime can easily top up to £500 for 2 people.

Ah, thanks John, that still seems a lot though for what I assume is a fairly common test now.

Of cause he is annoyed is predications rely in part on app uses submitting their symptons some of which are not on the goverment list the problem if you put these symptons on the list you will have to test many more people because these symptons are so common to other conditions all for a virus that as a survival rate of 99,9%

I'd love to be able to go , ingo. The cost of having to do the tests , and the actual logistics of getting one done somewhere in France before returning are stopping me, and probably thousands of other motorhomers , from heading across the channel. My Tunnel booking has been rolled forward so many times it's spinning.

As far as I know, the only motorhoming Oxford United supporter in Felpham.
