Is anyone planning on travelling to the Continent soon?

From next Monday I believe, international travel will be allowed from the UK.

Is anyone planning to take their MH across the Channel (or down to Spain) in the immediate future?

I believe France and Spain are both on the 'Amber' list regarding travel rules.

Oh yes , the very minute the Germans open up, I'll go and see my family, But I really can't see that happen as they now back on curfew. If France lets us in with the MH, we'll head straight down to Spain. Julie says she could take a couple of months off work in which case we'll travel after our daughter's 18th birthday.

So France/Spain anytime soon after the 17th May then?

Will you travel when they are on the amber list knowing/hoping that they will be on the green list after a coupe of months?

To be frank about it, yes, I've had enough with all this circus. I just don't care anymore. I need to travel. No doubt they'll come up with something new around the virus. My hours on this planet are getting less and I really haven't got time to hang about.

Furry muff.

Please let us know how you get on at the border crossing/customs in France (or indeed Spain if you ferry down). I'd be interested to hear if anything has changed post Brexit etc.

Do you need a vaccine certificate in order to cross the border?

Do us people living on the Continent, WANT you lot crawling over here, moaning, trying to break the nice safe food hygiene rules by smuggling sausages in while spreading the Delta variant like as if it was a freebie for all ?

The U.K. has a higher CoVid rate than France, thatís why you are currently a yellow third country, perhaps soon you will be red..... (if the sun stays out).....

Ireland is very pleasant, feel free to go there..... 🤣

We are hoping for our winter trip to the sun may still go ahead but who knows? We will only go if we feel it is safe to do so. I have to issue a warning that we witnessed some very unsafe practices at service stations on the way back from Spain at the start of the pandemic. Our life here is fairly safe and our life in Spain was fairly safe but the bit in between is what worries me.
I think we will only go if we can go by ferry as the winter journey through France is no fun any more. Getting a pet friendly cabin is the key to our whole plans now.

Does anyone know when Brittany Ferries release their winter bookings? Do they issue them first to members of their frequent flyer club?
