Don't panic Baz. It can't have gone from a pass to scrap in a year.

Brexiters. It's your sh1t now. Whatever happens nationally and internationally you own it. I wish you luck. I think you're going to need all you can get and then some. Friday 13th December 2019.

Nope, don't scrap it. Offer it at a bargain price with work to do. There is always someone looking for a 'project' and prepared to take on some rust. Everything has a price.
I bought our Hobby cheap £21k. because of rust. Ran it 8 years and sold it cheap £18k. because of rust.

The FSA formerly SIB & PIA licensed a twice convicted fraudster to handle our life´s savings. Guess what? He robbed us of £750,000. So they changed their name again to the FCA.

Isn't there a small garage that fixes old kit for farmers round your way Baz? That kind of patching is their kind of work.

Go fund me!! People contacted me from all over the world years ago when the "Hank" website was active and we travelled all over the place. Ill see if I Can contact them all and ask them to chip in a fiver each! On more than one occasion I had people come up on Aires and Sostas that recognised the van.

As said will just have to wait but I find it hard to believe also its gone from a pass to scrap in a year and just 400 miles. Strangely enough one of my old clients who does all sorts of clever stuff in Barnard Castle with classic cars called me today, he has retired and sold the business so I might pick his brains if it comes to it. I have a few contacts for sure in the agricultural world around here so if it can be done but the garage dont want it, chances are ill find someone.

See what tomorrow brings. Thanks for all the help and support.

I don’t know how these blogs work, but did the followers get an email to say something new had been added? If so just for curiosities sake add to it HANK is in trouble and tell them why, you never know what reaction you might get.

No nothing fancy like that in those days, it just gained a natural following and ranking, it was listed on a fair few websites and was even in a couple of motorhome magazines. Its not really been updated for years now though.

You still have choices mate.

Fix it and keep or sell.
Sell as is.
See if there is a welding course at uni.
Contact your old welding mate.

Back in the 80s we would spread filler onto trips of news paper, spread it over rusty bits, then spray them with black paint, and underseal, amazing what you could get away with then.
