Not according to the wording in your post Alan. And you only acquired it a few weeks ago, not long enough to give an honest opinion. How often have you used it?

Due to Covid our Skoda with a "Stop Start" battery is charged every few weeks, I don't use it as often as I should, preferring to use our Jazz as it has a tow bar for my garden trailer, hence the reason to keep it charged.

In 20 years Ill be 97 or dead, probably the latter. When we were younger Hans bought the best, but as much as Id like to think I will still be driving and charging batteries in 20 years time somehow I dont think that will be the case.

I can assure you that my opinion was entirely honest.

Looking at the charger you have if its doing its job it as a float setting so can be left on if it should break i am with ray get one from lidl or aldi that will do the job no point in wasting money at our age spend it on something for you
