Check them for what? would be the question I would be asking.
The trouble these days is that things are SO complicated it’s a nightmare trying to track down what’s wrong because everything interacts with everything else UNTIL some random thing interferes.
I appreciate that’s not a lot of help in your current situation. I suspect your only realistic option is to bite the bullet, find a Fiat dealership or transmission specialist with the equipment, and more importantly the knowledge, to accurately diagnose your issue and then rectify it Of course that’s not going to be cheap is it? The “accepted” routine these days seems to be keep replacing things until the problem is fixed, which considering everything is computer controlled hardly instils confidence in the manufacturers actually understanding what they have manufactured and sold.
I am afraid the only thing I can offer is my heartfelt good wishes and hopes that you get it all sorted soon.
