Mint & New Potatoes

Silly question, but do you put a sprig of fresh mint in when boiling new potatoes?
My Mum always did, but we had a garden and grew herbs and vegetables, I suppose if you didn´t/don´t have a garden the mint is hard to come by. We have no vegetable garden or flowers we don't even have proper Mother Earth top soil

Yes, always.
Like horseradish with sprouts and mint sauce with greens.

Funny things enter my head sometimes and other than here there's nobody to ask for a quick answer.

I also remember something Mum used to make with liver I think, potatoes cooked in the oven with a thin sort of gravy with this funny white membrane stuff stretched over the top, I hated the liver, and still do, but loved the potatoes.

The two impulses in travel are to get away from home, and the other is to pursue something - a landscape, people, an exotic place. Certainly finding a place that you like or discovering something unusual is a very sustaining thing in travel.

Salt and mayonnaise go on my chips, vinegar is used to clean the kettle or in a marinade.

The Mayo you get in the Netherlands and Germany on chips tastes different than the UK version.
