Tefal ingenio

I need new cooking pans. My old MSR camping pots have really given up after about 20 years! I like the look of the ingenio pots. Amazon has them at various prices, but there are a couple of great deals on some grey ones. I suspect these might be older models. Any views on whether these are as goid quality as the new ones?
Thanks

Wife bought a stacking set with removable handles including a frying pan on special offer in Auchan for the van (plenty of payload) about 4 years ago. Excellent quality they have had a lot of use but are still as good as new including the non stick coating. Might give you an excuse to cross the water

There are several variations of these in most supermarkets in France. We bought a set of 4 pans a couple of years ago, on a special offer of 22 euros. We couldn't believe the price so had to check but it was correct. They are great for in the van as they stack inside each other, only need one handle for the whole set. Only downside is they came without lids but this is normal with French pans. We bought a couple of different sized lids that will fit all the pans.

32 is a brilliant price....half that Amazon are charging. The ones I have seen are grey too. The latest sets are black and I wondered whether there was a difference in quality.
Yours are a real bargain.

Come to think of it I'm sure it was 50% off in Auchan when we bought our set. Makes you question the whole system when they can do a half price promotion and sell around the corner for twice as much. It's a funny old world.

Why would you need so many pans?

I carry a three tiered steamer, I love veg

A steamer cooks all pot and veg on one ring

A small pan for eggs or milk

A large shallow pan for cooking meals for multitudes we may meet and griddle sheet for the BBQ

A pack of foil dishes

Limited washing up

And a small pressure cooker for chicken and rice to feed the H from H

A dish for the oven for moussaka etc

And we cook daily, full meals
