sky v discovery

hi all

just been reading that the discovery channel is likely to leave sky as of tomorrow night

they are in dispute over money

it will affect all the discovery channels about 12

looks as if i will be cancelling as i mostly watch discovery items

any thoughts on discovery over the internet through a proxy server ?

Academia and government artificially select for particular traits, among which is a lack of life experience. This is why it's possible for a person to be exceptionally bright while failing to grasp something as rudimentary as supply and demand.

Aren't ITV4 providing live coverage again?

Possibly, but they don't show the 'one day classics' or some of the other 'A' class races

Yes - I watched quite a few of them last year on Eurosport.

I've got BT TV as well so I can continue to get Eurosport and Discovery but for anyone who isn't a BT subscriber or who wants to watch via satellite it's much more of an issue. Virgin also has Eurosport and Discovery.

That's the main problem, viewing via satellite, IF we get away for July then following the Tour de France when not watching 'in the flesh' is going to be the issue
