A bit of fun

Try this website and enter your date of birth.....

https://www.thisdayinmusic.com/birthdayno1

That way you can find what the Number 1 disc was on the at that you were born....

For me it was " Tennessee Waltz " in both the UK and the USA....

How about you ?

Post YOUR result and we will see what range of music we can generate...

Any typo that I make means the errorists win.

Any comments above are only MY OPINION and should be read as that.

Nancy Sinatra
These Boots Are Made For Walking (in the UK)

Im good with that. Cool song, great bass guitar riff at the beginning. Quite a good video as well! Remember it from the film "Full metal Jacket" also

If only I could think of an original, witty signature . . . this is where it would be . . .

Actually didnt the UK top 40 only start in 1952. There will be a few on here that are off the scale

I got a result for a date before you say the charts started... so there may be other non official versions

But if you are "off the scale" that is superb, there are associated pages on that link that you can find out what music was around if not a specific date.

That chart starts on 1st January 1946,

Wikipedia goes further back with "most popular music of ......" and goes back to the early 30's. I doubt there are many MHF forum members older than that although it is possible......

Mee too Bill. It only goes back to 1946. I'm a war baby.

The Number 1 two days before my birth - they don't make 'em like they used to.

Have a look at the incredible number of superb musicians born in 1945, staggering list of talent IMO.
