A bit of fun with 'Apache'

A good friend of mine from Dublin , and ex show band musician, put up a video of himself playing Apache on YouTube , so I joined in for a laugh.

Fantastic - but please, don’t let BarryD produce a version with him playing over the top of your excellent video 🙀

Oh my goodness, what have I suggested????

Regards,
John

If only I could think of an original, witty signature . . . this is where it would be . . .

Have to say Alan, dunno what you recorded that on but the tone on your guitar is awesome. Great video with good humour. Loved it.

I was discussing with a pal in Darlington today the possibilities of how we could set up an online live Jam. Still working on it.

Thanks, glad you enjoyed it , didn't fuss over the sound much ,the humour was the main thing . I couldn't play properly anyway as my hands/ fingers are all dried up and cracked because of the chemo. Some of my finger nails have actually cut into my fingers, I took the bandages off a couple to play but notice the thumbs and index fingers are still bandaged . That's my excuse anyway .

Yes I noticed that but its still an excellent job. Nice guitar, I fancy a strat or something with a Whammy bar.

One of your better copies Baz. Now you have something to aim for.!!! If only you looked like Zolene.

Whatever else you are losing Allen its not your sense of humour or your talent.
You put a big smile on my face at 7.45 am, I loved it, the Shadows were my favourite Group, as Barry knows.

Oh my goodness, I´m definitely coming to see you if you want me to or not.
An accordion, not you playing I know, I started to learn when I was 40 I was getting on really well, but had to give up because of arthritis in my spine and I couldn´t pick it up.
The harmonica that Hans loved to play even though he was no musician he always had one with him. I have a few in the house and did think I might have a go, not got anywhere yet.
