Best location for air con unit on Adria 670sl

I did post this on the Adria forum, but believe this is perhaps the better one

I have an Adria Matrix 670SL, does anyone have any idea which is the best location to fit a Dometic FreshLight unit, which Skylights can I use I was hoping to use the one over the kitchen area? But it does have a bit of a slope in the rof in this area

Ours is a Adria

We fitted ours into the kitchen window

But I'm not sure about your model

Ours is the coral SL

I love the fresh light, it has so many functions

In Europe it means we can leave shadow knowing he's cool for a few hours

And we always check with fellow campers who know he is there

Our model has an electric drop down bed hence the raised curved roof, does yours not have this? As said we want to put it in the kitchen skylight but we are being told it won't fit there because of the curve of the roof, as per the attached picture in the post

I would be keen to know if this is true and if anyone else has this unit fitted in a similar MH

Can't say Dick

Don't know your model

But if you can fit it it's a brilliant bit of kit

I'd first consider where you need to be cool, IE in bed, or watching TV etc, ours is in the 400x400mm opening where the mini vent was in the kitchen area, a total waste of time there, and makes the kitchen dark even on bright sunny days, a new hole can go almost anywhere so choose wisely.

As a side query, we had a evaporative air cooler at home, is there such a thing to fit in a MoHo roof, as these could be used off grid due to low consumption as it's only a fan.

The fresh light has a window in the unit Kev so you still have daylight in the area

We find that it's a brilliant extracter fan

Can direct it to front or back of van or central

I think it has to fit a 400x400 opening, which our kitchen roof light is

Ah, not seen those, good idea.

Hells Bells, £1800, I'll resort to opening a window I think

Wehad an evaporative system fitted in the first Hymer we had. Trav L cool it was called. A decent bit of kit but when it got seriously hot all it did was blow out hot air.
