I continue to support Ayr United ,my home team in Scotland and Bournemouth in England, but ever since watching Manchester United in the fifties I have become a distant supporter.

At least 3 weeks - I would be surprised if the season finishes at all. No idea what then happens if not all matches have been played. Easy to say that no-one has won the Premier League but how do you work out which teams qualify for Europe next year? Seems a bit harsh just to draw a line under it at whatever point the last game is played but maybe that's what will happen.

My children (in their 20's) had been mostly pretty unconcerned by Coronovirus until today. There's Mrs P and myself saying we have no desire to catch it, the economy is crashing etc etc and the main complaint from my children has been that sporting events are cancelled!

Sad news that Peter Bonetti had died aged 78. A great player for Chelsea.

You could always follow your local team rather than Celtic.

Growing up my local team hailed from Ibrox but back then (any maybe now) I wouldnt have been welcome due to their discriminatory signing policy. I have had a season ticket for decades which I will keep to the grave. You take the rough with the smooth.

I do go and see my local team Tunbridge Wells but not quite the same, although I do enjoy the fact you cam have a beer while watching the game
