Yep! Though I don't go there now. Too vitriolic. Not enjoyable atmosphere at all. I see SAF doing his mind games again.

I'll take a point

unbelievable, the guy gets them 2 promotions, and has just got the measure of the Money league culminating with a draw at Chelsea. And they dump him and bring in some unknown argentine with a mixed record in Spain. Bizarre.....

It goes to show how unrealistic the expectations of owners is these days. Southampton are in a credible position for their first season after promotion. The local BBC news had several fans saying they were shocked and surprised and they thought he was doing well.

It will be interesting to see what happens from now. I thought they had the right man (so did just about everyone else), a good motivator etc. The style of play was right too, probably better than at any time during their previous 27 years in the top flight.
We had Rupert Lowe to thank for the last decline, I wonder if this is the start of another. I hope not.
The annoying thing is that Saints supporters should be reasonably happy at the moment instead we are seething.
Who'd support a football team?

all gone quiet over here.....

I've just switched on to ITV4 and tonight's match in the African championships. There don't seem to be many goals about

one thing that's struck me is the number of African teams playing in green? There are very few teams in England that play in green, I always assumed it was because of the visibility problem? (green on green grass?). Tonight it's Algeria. Is it because historically they played on dirt pitches, so not much grass about? Looking at the "long" shots of tonight's game. the all green of Algeria seems a bit lost....

shows I'm a bit bored tonight

great result for Bradford, lost 2-1 on the night, but through to the final. First 4th tier club through to a major Wembley final.
