The Wonder Kid

I cannot believe that there has been no discussion on here regarding Marc Marquez's performance in MGP this year.
7 wins from 7 races!
Harps back to the days of Mick Doohan in 1997 with 12 wins from 15 races, however, I do seem to remember that there were only about a dozen starters in those days? Also Doohan was usually miles ahead of anybody else. Marc has had a couple of ding-dong battles to end up as winner, one after being in 10th position early on.
When Doohan set the record in 1997 he had already won the championship for the three previous years, and eventually won 5 consecutive championships........so the kid still has some way to go!

I used to watch it on Eurosport but BT naffed that for most of the British followers. He's doing great though.

However, I am in the process of upgrading my Virgin cable TV package and BT Sport is now included, so hopefully I will be watching the Dutch GP.

Roger.

Looks like in time he could even eclipse the doctor in world championships.
Just hope that he doesnt have it all his own way and someone comes thru to push him.

We get Moto GP on the lowest Virgin Package, but only the highlights One of the ITV4 Mondays at 8pm 14th July next I think.

I'm still waiting for Rossi to win one.

Many similarities to when Rossi first appeared in Moto GP and the rider to beat wax Max Biaggi.

Who's Marc Marquez's

As I'm a dyslexic and I've had two stokes you are going to see spelling/grammar mistakes, so please don't act superior and point them out!

Not a patch on Mike Hailwood or Ago! (Only kidding, showing my age - champions in their day!)

Saw him at Teruel last year fantastic time great friendly fans too. Had a walk round the pits too no extra to pay and pensioners had an area they could go to which was free.
