Mountain bikes

My old electric bike crossed the rainbow bridge so I bought a city ebike, the only problem is its very hilly were we live and the city bike was not powerful enough to cope. The owner of the bike shop convinced me that to cope with the hills were we are I needed a really powerful mountain bike ..... costing lot more money. I tried it around the streets by the shop and was totally hooked. So at the age of 78 I am now into mountain bike riding, how is that for stupidity?

As I'm a dyslexic and I've had two stokes you are going to see spelling/grammar mistakes, so please don't act superior and point them out!

Any typo that I make means the errorists win.

Any comments above are only MY OPINION and should be read as that.

I think you are stupidly wonderful, what difference does age make to doing or having something you enjoy, its how you feel inside that's important and if gives you pleasure that means it will make you smile and if you smile or laugh the world laughs with you not at you. Well done Gitty, better spent on a few years happiness than sitting idle in the bank.

Don't know, but it's obviously great for your mental health! Well done you!

Very much so, our local bar/restaurant is a kilometre along a flat lane from us.

Sounds like an excellent idea I still use my unpowered bike, unpowered by battery and definitely underpowered by my legs.
