The arrangement with safety cars and virtual safety cars is where the problems seem to arise - being able to take advanatge under a VSC by going in to the pits is fundamentally wrong - IMO ALL the cars should stay in the same order as before the VSC was declared and it is quite possible with the plethora of timing that now takes place for the separation to be be maintained too......
Everything is timed to 1/1000 of a second at every single part of the track and off the track so the information exists and pitting is NOT permitted under a true safety car where the order must be maintained even if they close up.
On a track where overtaking is virtually impossible unless the one in front stops then the VSC s giving an unfair advantage to one team as has been seen.
But of course money talks and I am sure such a levelling concept will not be grasped by the Ferrari1 (sorry F1) organisation - the favours given to Ferrari in the past have been celarly visible - even if I cannot bother to remember when their drivers receive less harsh penalties than others for breaking the same rule.....subsection 4 ....... paragraph b ...... line iii.........
