Had it been a normal start, he might well have not been at the front!

Definitely not a fan then? .

Just continuing the conspiracy theory, strange how instant the help info was when Nico had a technical problem, no arguments as to whether or not it was allowed, instant instructions.

Will be interesting to see what the stewards say.

And, HAD his granny had bxlls she would have been his grandad.

In the wet he would still have passed Rosberg, or been run off the road by him, even Verstappen got past Rosberg

John, I think they are both as bad as each other, and F1 has lost considerable appeal.
It is getting to be one big joke!

For me, it is pretty apparent that whoever the driver is, Hamilton, Rosberg, oe any other driver from any other team, they just cannot be expected to manage the computerised systems within the car alone. The cars have got to much software, got fat too technical and if that sort of equipment is going to be used, the drivers do need information from the garage.
As they obviously will not go backwards, and de tech the cars, the rule forbidding the team from giving this information, needs to be thrown out!
It just is not Racing Drivers any more, it is Racing Teams, and most of the top drivers, given the same car, with the same support, same circumstances, would perform very similar!
I for one am going to try to stop watching, I have tried for a few years, but now it is more about everything other than flat out racing.
F1 has lost it's way!

I have to say I enjoyed that race. All the drivers were battling with the changing conditions of the track and there was a fair bit of racing action down the field.
I think those that have this negative downer on the sport really should not be watching.... why put yourselves through it if you despise it so much?

I do hate that Steve (?) Jones guy though..

Having said that I was switching over quite a lot to keep tabs on Andy Murrays brilliant win at Wimbledon.
Great days sport on the whole.

Steve.

Graham, I agree with comments and feel just about as you do, although I still find it compelling to follow.

If and or when there ceases to be free to view I will most likely stop watching, although will probably still check what happens via the internet.

Sadly Moto GP and WSB have gone down the pay per view route (English language) so now have to follow those via other means.

John, thanks, don't forget as well as channel 4, it is available on RTL via Astra 1. Somebody on here posted that a few weeks ago, and I then managed to watch the Austrian GP in German, with live commentary via Radio 5 Live

Steve, pleased you enjoyed it, for me it was spoilt with the Safety Car start and keeping it out far too long!

New team radio rules

This will make it a bit interesting, although could just intensify coded verbal messages.
