Mazda Bongo Insurance

Insurance for Bongos

I was trawling around for insurance and had the problem that as the Bongo was a second vehicle I had no no claims bonus for it.

Tesco, my car insurer, gave me a quote of over 500 (gulp), I then tried a few specialist insurers and Lifesure gave a great quote which I accepted as its through RBS for under 300 fully comp.

Call them on 01480-474604 or 0870-3661235 .

Have a look at the Insurance forum on Bongo Fury, the Bongo enthusiast site /owners club / forum. Over 3,000 members!

Most Bongo owners are probably with Lifesure, although other insurers are often very similar prices. There is much debate about getting agreed value insurance, as basically nice Bongos are going up in price now, as good ones become scarce.

Bongo Insurance

I run an insurance site called Link Removed by Moderators Superquote Insurance we don't yet have a partner for motorhome insurance and will have a look at the comaines mentioned here.

Is the agreed value important to Bongo owners??

What is a comaine?

We had our Bongo insured with Safeguard (still with them for the Hymer).
Very reasonable premiums.

While looking at various vehicles, we've been looking into all sorts, including affordabilty of parts etc ...

One important thing is the cost of insurance - hence my post here ...

The Mazda Bongo Friendee ticked ALL of the right boxes!

I've tried all sorts of companies for insurance quotes, but the best quote (all things considered - including policy excess, etc and, of course, final price!) was an independent broker call 2Gether FS.

I spoke to the head honcho - Gary Haime, who took the time to talk me through all of the options available for me and came in with a motor insurance quote for the Mazda Bongo Friendee MUCH lower than ANY of the others!

Very professional and courteous service - even though I made it clear that I didn't actually currently own the model I am looking at purchasing.

I can't recommend 2Gether FS highly enough!

Hopefully, if anybody here is looking for great service and great value insurance for their Bongo, then I may have helped by making this post!

2GFS do have a website, but I contacted them by 'phone - 01945 585322
