High Power USB Recharging

I had these recommended to me

Scosche USB car charger sockets with 2.4amp on both outlets. I bought a couple on Amazon, and they really do charge quickly.

Be aware that USB devices usually negotiate their charging needs as part of the USB protocol.

Although the adapter may be rated at 2.4A, the cable or the device you are charging may not be.

I take your point Peter. We use them on an old 10" iPad, a newish iPad mini? and old Samsung note 10.1. and they both charge quicker than at home. Maybe newer items have 'improvements' to their charging systems.
