Securing Bikes to Motorhome

If there is no convenient tree or whatever, and you use a D lock, screwing in the removable towing eye gives you a secure fixing point to secure a bike to when on site/aire. I say D lock, but a cable or chain will work as long as it prevents the towing eye being unscrewed.

What a cracking idea !!!

Could be used for any number of other items, an alternative is to thread a cable through a wheel (alloy wheels are best as steel wheels seldom have enough gaps) Just remember its there before driving off

Thats what I use on my (shhhh dont tell anyone :eek: ) Caravan!!

In a similar vein, I thread a wire bicycle lock through a wheel to tether my CADAC to the MH when not in use.
