Hi Samantha

I live in Weymouth and sadly there is no dedicated overnight parking for MH’s

There is however a pretty large Park and Ride car park that is deserted at night

Its not the destination that matters.

It's who you share the journey with (even if it’s in a caravan!) I am very fortunate to have Mrs Plodd to share mine with

There is however a pretty large Park and Ride car park that is deserted at night If you are coming in from the Dorchester direction it’s clearly signposted (it’s left off the second RAB you come to) I am not sure but there may be signs saying MH’s are not permitted, but the council don’t send out parking attendants at night!!

There are also a couple of decent sized lay-byes once you start DECENDING the hill into town (wait until you can see the sea in the distance, that way you know you have come far enough) Thet ARE on a bit of a slope though.

Another spot worth investigating is the towns football stadium, it’s a bit out of town (follow the signs for the Police custody suite, it’s right alongside) big car park, deserted at night (except for a few motorhomes!)

If want any more local info PM me for my phone number.

Andy

Shame the OP seems too busy to have bothered to post any form of response, or even click on the “Thanks” button isn’t it?

Another “One visit” wonder ??
