Campsites-Slovenia and Hungary

Hello all. Last year me and a couple of mates went over to Budapest in my van and had a great time. In August I intend going again but on my motorbike, the long way round I will be going over the Col de la Bonnette in the Alps and down into Italy. Once I get through Italy it will then be up through Slovenia and Hungary to Budapest. I've not used any campsites in Slovenia or Hungary before and so would be interested to know if they are plentiful or not. Any tips etc gratefully received.

Nick.

A small deed done is better than a great deed planned.

Have a look on

http://www.acsi.eu/en/home/l2-n144/

Then look under 'Eurocampings'. You'll see there are plenty. You can view as a map or a list if you want more detail of particular campsites. If you're going outof peak season you can save money by getting their ACSI card and get fixed prices with considerable savings on the regular price.

Good luck with your travels.

Personal Aire
The only 2 I have been on in Slovenia was the one at Lake Bled (there is only one) and camping Danica (I think) up the road at Lake Bohinj. Didn't like the Bled site but Bohinj was alright. Niether were expensive and it was July.

You will love going over the Col de La Bonnette though, done it in the van. Brilliant but I would go early for the best chance of a clear ride and to avoid motorhomes!
