Park4night

I have tried a lot of different apps for finding places to stay long or short stays. Park4night is getting my vote as the best so far. It seems to have pretty much everything from places where people parked overnight to full campgrounds.

If you have questions about touring, living, driving, etc in Italy message me.

It certainly seems quite good the way you zoom into an area and only when you refresh the screen do the POIs get loaded - seems to make it quite quick. Except when it falls over....

Like lots of others we started years ago with 'All the Aires' book, then gradually added Apps; campingcar-infos, campercontact and now park4night..

I agree with you that park4night is quite comprehensive and especially useful for us 'wildcampers'

I still use the others because sometimes they have photos and descriptions which are missing elsewhere.

Our All the Aires is out-of-date and probably will not be replaced, especially since the French one needs buying North and South and is not 'All the Aires'

Yep it's a good resource that I sometimes use to double check, my main resource is 'searchforsites' it includes Aires, parking areas, Passion sites and campsites with reviews and pics, these I download onto maps.me to use offline, pic of the SFS website attached.

SFS have recently set up an app to work offline for both IOS and Android although I haven't used it myself.

Hi I like WikiCamps UK. Pro version can be used on android Windows and IOS.
Trips planned on your PC are passed to you phone or tablet.

I also use Google, type in camping in a area and you get sites and lots of reviews. Google is taking over the world.
