Are you sure your iPad has GPS? I'm not sure if some don't.

I had to search to find one which iPad would have both GPS and a SIM slot, the iPad 4 was the best priced one.

I've found park4night very useful at times. Once I've picked a place to stay I navigate to it via the off line app Sygic on my mobile phone. Seems to work a treat.

I have park4night on the kindle, but it takes an age to load the maps then ages to go through the rest of its job, Praps I don't use it properly.?

Are you using the off-line or on-line version?


We use the on-line one,.on a Samsung Android phone.. The on-line one only loads the parking spots for the particular section of map one is looking at, at whatever scale/zoom.. When one moves to another area one has to download again, but it is quite fast. Likewise clicking on an Aire or Parking place brings it up quickly.


Perhaps as you say it is operator problem.
