Yep, been tempted Kev for my wife to do her own thing online. But just can't see it won't get dumped in a drawer.

I think at those prices it's worth a shot, chuck it on Ebay of she doesn't use it.

I already have several hundred items to sell/dispose of Kev. E-Bay here is terrible and sticking anything on UK e-bay involves high postage costs.
Being as I'm gonna be the one who thinks about charging, downloading, setting up, finding, etc. etc. Do I need any extra jobs.?

Ray.

p.s. on another tac I just spent all morning trying to get a friends Win 10 to open a pdf. Seems Microsoft retired it's 'reader' last month. Adobe Reader wouldn't fully install and round we go.

What bargains.
I have a Kindle HD8 (7th generation) 16gb cost 124.99€ 27th. Dec 2017

Here is one for £55.99.

It takes photos & video´s has blue tooth, I can talk to it (although so far haven't) and it will answer
It stores documents, photos and music. there are many more things that I don't bother with, games, maps, calculator, clock,
News.

I use it a lot to read books, email, forums and Google.

I like it very much.

Yes Jan. Would love my wife to get to grips so to speak. But a step too far.

Forget Adobe Ray, I got rid of it years ago, consumes too much memory, I now use Foxit Reader.

Thanks Barry and Gelly.
Yes I see 'foxit' suggested in Computer Active now. But not in time for my friend.
At the mo my PC opens anything up for now but will take your advice immediately anything wavers.

Amazon were doing the Kindle Fire 7" with Wi-Fi last week at £34.99 but this week it's back up to £49.99. So the 'attraction' has passed.
