Carver Gas Heater needs replacing

Hi all

I am trying to help an elderly client who has been lead up the garden path a bit. She Has a Carver gas heater (she says Auto Carver 360) in her 1996 Ford Autosleeper. However I can find no record of a 360 only a 3600. She needs to replace it as it no longer works. She came to us as we are a fireplace centre but mainly deal with fireplaces for houses. I need to know if Carvers are available new or if not, is there a direct replacement she can have. I am finding it difficult getting any sense from suppliers. I just want to make sure that this lovely lady gets sorted as she has already been ripped off a few times. She only wants new and is not interested in anything second hand off e-bay. Any advice would be appreciated.

These people: https://www.leisureshopdirect.com/ga...er-spare-parts

are one of the UK's biggest suppliers of MH bits. They will know.

At a glance on the internet it looks to me as though Carver may just be the brand name? The manufacturer may be one of the big players such as Dometic.

Brexiters. It's your sh1t now. Whatever happens nationally and internationally you own it. I wish you luck. I think you're going to need all you can get and then some. Friday 13th December 2019.

Not sure if they still fit that type of heater anymore (good on you for trying to help, tell her to join in on here) but my 07 van has the same type if not exact model, but it is made by Truma not Carver.

I just did a search and just for the front cover it was £1100 + from Jacksons leisure so hopefully, the lady can find an honest repair shop, they do exist also look at MCEA they have mobile technicians, it could be as simple as a thermocouple or ignitor, the main body is pretty bulletproof so only the burner left as there are almost zero electrics involved save the ignitor, which might be piezo.
