Reich Tap

hoping someone knows what i am talking about
Had a leaky mixer tap, thought i'd be clever and fit a new cartridge, took old one out, ordered new one which arrived but now i can't remember, which goes back first the cartridge locking nut or the funny washer that holds the micro switch wires in place?
Thank you!

isn't it easier to just replace the tap altogether ?

Would it not be possible to try one way, see if it works, in which case leave it, or if not, try the other way and see if that works.

Replacing a whole tap is not easy as often access to the securing nut below the surface is difficult without removing eg the sink and that potentially gives lots of chances for leaks...

Any typo that I make means the errorists win.

Any comments above are only MY OPINION and should be read as that.
