Angry Thetford Toilet Cassette Flush Button.

Hello All,
My toilet cassette ( Thetford C403L) is just over three years old & the flush push button is difficult and hard to press, although it does work. The level indicator lights work OK.

I have tried cleaning the switch under the blue button on the PCB board with contact cleaner but this didn't improve the fault. I have costed a new control panel on Ebay but is about £50!!

Has anyone experienced this or have any ideas to fix please?

Regards,
Al.. sennen523

Make sure that the board that is underneath the flexi-panel is correctly seated as they have been known to become dislodged slightly.

Andy

Its not the destination that matters.

It's who you share the journey with (even if like me, it’s in a caravan!)
I am very fortunate to have Mrs Plodd to share mine with

Yep, the circuit boards inside can dislodge. I put a bell push on ours eventually. Worked a treat. Hid it under the edge of the sink work top.

Thanks for your advice, I'll check the circuit board is secure. Al.

I think those switches are the little rubber covered push button things, like those under the letters on a keyboard. They go faulty readily.
