Just a thought but I seem to remember that you top up the reservoir to the minimum mark and it expands to the maximum mark when hot. Quirky I know but I think I’m right, perhaps someone will confirm? Also our system only took about forty minutes max to heat up. The ‘secret’ is to use gas as electricity is hopelessly slow for these type heating applications, the same goes for Truma boiler systems.

I only wish that we had an Alde system know, we loved it.

Alde manual states 10mm above MIN mark with the system cold
