Hi,

We had our new to us Van re-mapped yesterday, and are waiting to hear back from the Insurance (MHF) to see if this has any adverse effect on our premium.

Did they ask for/ did you give them a reason for having the re-mapping done? Normally if it's to "enhance performance" (more applicable to cars than motorhomes!) they want more money, if it's to "improve fuel efficiency" they don't.

In practice, with a 'van you usually benefit on both fronts . . .

cheers

Hi,

I told them it was for economy purposes (rather than for using on track days )
