Do you have to belong to MHF to use MHF Insurance

As per title do you have to maintain a MHF membership to take advantage of MHF Insurance?

Don't know personally but you could just phone Comfort instead.

When I took out MHF Insurance 2 years ago, I was not even asked if I was an MHF member. Nor was there any reference when I renewed.

Comfort and MHF are not the same and their pricing is different so no good phoning Comfort to ask them the question. As to the question, no you don't need to be a member of MHF in order to buy your insurance through them.

I think that the Which magazine thinks you should be a member, when they rated MHF as the best Insurance for Motorhomes. They did not mention brand names.

Thank you for your replies, I applied for MHF insurance through this website so did it as a member so was never asked. I'm considering whether to renew my membership and hence the question.

No you do not need to be a member to continue the MHF insurance, your membership merely gives you the discount that was offered to members. Is there a reason why you are thinking of not renewing membership.

I agree with Cabby you get a bit of a discount being a member that is the reason they ask.
