Are we talking about the delightful processional caterpillars? Little horrors...
Seem to remember that they didn't really make a nuisance of themselves till about February.
The Spanish used to treat them very seriously and it was a Police matter when seen in their nests. How much of a nuisance depended on how well they were sprayed and that dended on how meticulous people were about reporting them.
But I am about 5 years out of date!

The moths will be laying their eggs about now untll Xmas. Then you will start to see nests form but no caterpillars until Feb/March until end April.
Am afraid problem will still be there. Is actually getting worse in all areas of Spain and France and becoming endemic in parts of UK

Not quite sure why this thread has been moved from the 'Naturist' section, to the more generic 'Continental Touring', when the OP was asking a specific question about the naturist resort of Domaine Naturiste Arnaoutchot (Arna) in south-west France? http://www.arna.com/

Unfortunately, I can't help with the answer - just curious why the topic was moved?

It's not exactly clear from the OP as to what or where it was about?

Well yes... and no.

I agree the OP might have been slightly more specific, but since it was (originally) posted under the 'Naturist' thread, anybody not familiar with the location only needed to check on Google for: naturist+arna to find the answer.

It is a fairly well known resort in naturist circles, but I readily accept that is unlikely to be the case otherwise.
