Can anyone suggest anything please?
Hang on there

No fantasies

The come in a full range from lord of the rings, game of thrones , to dragons

I love dragons

And I read much more than fantasy

Recommendations are not easy, we all enjoy different things at different times

In the middle of the night I enjoy a feel good factor book

At other times War and Peace

The classics are brilliant whatís not to love about Austin novels

And sometimes I flick back to childhood specials , Anne of green gables

And new teenage readers books, Golden Compass, The Dark is rising etc

And sometimes I re read books from Dickens, beautifully written

And whatís not to love about Gt Expectations ?

Itís a mine field girl

And I love it , exclude nothing

You never know till you try

I think I have enough ideas to go on with, but the thread may be helpful to others.
Thank you all for your suggestions.

I'm having a job trying to put (mobi) books I've had sent to me via email on the kindle
It was dead simple to add them to my desktop kindle, just drag and drop, but I don't like reading from there, much prefer to sit in a comfy chair with the kindle.
Then I had forgotten I also have a lot of Lee Childs books on the desk top, but I want them on the kindle.

TheLee Childs books are epub and they need to be converted to mobidick files
Itīs all too much for my old brain.
I need calibre it says so I downloaded calibre, then have no idea how to carry on, so I opened my old Samsung, perhaps itīs easier on windows I thought,--- oh bu**er I forget how the windows work, haven't touched it for months and all my windows knowledge has gone out the window.
I give up for today, busy tomorrow and Wednesday maybe have another try on Thursday.

I have just finished a book recommended by Viv (HermanHymer) Two Brothers by Ben Elton who also wrote Black Adder, The young ones , The thin blue line and more.
This book however is anything but a comedy.
Although fiction it gives an insight into what the Jews suffered between 1920 until after the second world war.
May we never see anything to resemble that era in our lifetime or beyond.

I need to read something light now.

Recommending books is fraught

We love such different things at different times

Iím a rapid reader , can easily read a book a night

I enjoy travel books, motorhome journeys

And no they are not all well written ,but they are travelling , exploring

And I love dragons they are often so wise

And Iím not

And for £7.99 a month

I get my monies worth

When Iím really tired and canít sleep

I read recipes, which I may or not cook

In between I read really good books

Study books , that need focus

But it really depends on how tired I feel, how much I need a good feel factor , etc

Or would I prefer a murder mystery

Who knows?
