Kindle update

My Kindle Fire was updated this afternoon, something to do with better email

Trouble is now the screen wont rotate, its stuck on the upright and I like it the other way,. I have tapped the Auto-rotate which locks it, tapped again to unlock, but it still wont move.
Any idea´s please ?

You try holding the one-off button
It's what I do when things go wrong

It comes up as reset
Wait whilst it does its thing

Try holding the shutdown button in until it shuts down completely. Leave it switched off for a couple of minutes and then restart it by again holding the shutdown/start button in. Happened a couple of times with mine and this worked. Hope it does for you.

Thanks both, but it didn't work.
I will turn it off for the night and if it's the same tomorrow I'll get in touch with them.

After an all night rest it's woken up the right way round.

This is my second Kindle Mags, the first one went up the creek just after the guarantee ran out and they replaced it with this one free of charge, dare say it's a refurbished, it's now over 2 years old and other than yesterdays hiccup, fingers crossed
