Hi, we’ve just bought a Swift Kon Tiki 659 Motor Home (Fiat Ducato). Please can anyone tell me what this button is for and how it works? Cheers

Welcome Steve.
Fascinating as I personally have no idea but hopefully someone with a similar van will be along shortly.

Ray.

The FSA formerly SIB & PIA licensed a twice convicted fraudster to handle our life´s savings. Guess what? He robbed us of £750,000. So they changed their name again to the FCA.

Hmm, odd one, the large white bit looks like an old fashioned scale weight, then there is the arrows, and bottom right it looks like an angle radius, had it been a dash icon I'd have had a guess at overloading or something but now idea, is it not in the manual?

I got hold of a manual, but we do not know the age of your van and the manuals are not model specific, but a lot better than the one I have for our Ace Siena.

Nah, brain stopped on this one, all I can think is to inflate the rear air suspension, but the graphic could have been better for that so I thin k that's wrong.

Bugging me now, even google doesn't know.

Try pressing it with the ign off and listening, and again ign on.

For vans fitted with auto boxes it can change the gear shift timing when faced with a steep hill or even help maintain a gear to higher revs whilst overtaking.

If you don’t have an automatic box just ignore it.

If I was really clever I would rewire it to an ejector seat for when the navigator gets a bit uppity.

Luckily she doesn’t read the forum, the same with her maps at times.

Wow, thanks all for such quick responses, really appreciate that! It’s a 2011 model and no, I couldn’t find it in the manual but it is an automatic gearbox so I’ll try the ‘press it and listen’ suggestion and see what happens. THANK YOU, glad it wasn’t something obvious!
Penquin and Pudsey_Bear like this.
