Sun canopy

Good morning all.
I would like to fit a sun canopy to my Fiat Ducato Autotrail 2001.
Being new to motorhoming at the age of 65 and being female i am confused on what will fit and how to fit it.
I am fortunate enough to have the assistance of a couple of friends who have offered to fit it , if i get it.
If anyone could point me in the right direction or recommend a suitable canopy i really would appreciate it.
Thank you.

Measure for the length you want first.

Then:

Brexiters. It's your sh1t now. Whatever happens nationally and internationally you own it. I wish you luck. I think you're going to need all you can get and then some. Friday 13th December 2019.

'Sun canopy' can suggest a few different items. If you decide on a Thule wind out I suggest you get someone who is familiar with them to fit it. The fully supply and fitted price from Hill View Awnings is likely to be competitive with the supply only cost of other suppliers. https://www.hillviewawnings.co.uk/

Good morning First Timer Female, may we have a decent name to call you please

I am surprised your Autotrail doesn't have a canopy if the above is what you mean.
I have an Autotrail Navajo build in 2014 and came with one which we/I donīt ever use.

There are a few lady loaner on the forum, me being one, most are widows including me, none of us are youngsters, most older than you.
Anyway I just wanted to greet you to the forum, the men will sort you out, if you know what I mean.
I also think it would be beneficial to you if you became a subscriber otherwise you will only have a limited amount of posts to ask, I would imagine being new to the Motorhome you will need to ask a lot of questions and our boys are always happy and willing to answer no matter how silly they might seem (the questions not our boys)
I am Jan, but answer to a few other nicknames as well.

I'm Jan

The only time I get to a roof these days is when I hit it
I have done my share of loaning, never again.
Otherwise being a loner is becoming the norm, I think I might be classed as a hermit soon.

Just putting our newcomer Sue at the top, she needs a bit of guidance with the forum as well as her new motorhome

I'm amazed Jan - how do you know she's Sue if she's only made 1 post?

Anyway, welcome First Timer/Sue. I'm another female loner who is still addicted to MHing.

Because Sue sent me a PM. I donít know how she managed it, but she thought she had posted on the forum.
I donít know where she is now, completely lost without a TomTom probably 😁
