Smile Good morning everyone.

Hi, I am a relative newbie to the world of motorhomes, having sailed in the sea going version for many years. Bought our first motorhome last year and thus far have done four or five trips in the UK and one (rather longer than anticipated) trip in Europe. As I am currently sat on the naughty step in another well known motorhome forum I thought I would try something different. I am looking forward to finding out as lot more about what this site has to offer.

Stay safe

Tdubs.

Good afternoon. Thanks for your post. In answer to your questions, we purchased an Ace Siena (we really like the rear lounge layout and don't mind setting the beds up each night).

Favourite places so far (bearing in mind we haven't clocked up two years of ownership yet and been locked down for a lot of it . . . ) - in this country our first trip was to a field next to a pub near Oxford which was memorable. In Europe (we did an impromptu European tour last August when what should have been a trip to Isle de Rey turned into a mad dash to get out of France via Italy and then Switzerland and Germany), most of the stops there were pretty memorable too so it's hard to pick a favourite.

The naughty step upon which I currently reside is on another forum with very similar (maybe even identical) initials to this one. The demi-god that runs it took exception to what I thought was a fairly innocuous reply to someone who posted a link to a petition site urging us to sign a petition to get the UK Govt to put pressure on the EU to extend the 90/180 limit. All I said was a petition to become part of the customs union and the single market might be more appropriate . . . .

Well yes, but that would prove some didnít know what they were voting for in the first place.

We try to limit such political discussion to posts on the subscribers lounge here on MHFacts so those of a sensitive nature can avoid robust chat. Although some of them canít resist a peek now and again.
