Question Fiat Ducato 2.5TD LHD 1998 2001

Hi
I have recently joined the motorhome fraternity with an E510 Hymer.
Currently, I have a juddery power delivery when under acceleration.
To solve this I am wishing to have a diagnostic check completed.
For the Fiat Ducato chassis, the local dealer has suggested that a small panel by either your left or right knee (depending on whether RHD or LHD), requires two screws to be undone which then reveals the 16 pin socket.
Not on my Hymer! It has the Bosch VP44 fuel pump, which is fly by wire, so therefore should have a 16 pin socket!
Can anyone provide a location please?

I think you will find that for a 2.5 of that year group it will definitely be a mechanical fuel injection version.
The amount of diagnostics for this version is very limited and the port for it will be close to the steering column on your LHD version it is normally found to the left of the column and the standard type, same shape and format as the current version.
The diagnostics will be the basic OBD ones.

Are you sure the throttle activation is electronic?
