Could be any number of things. Many caravans, along with cars, have one wiring loom for all variants of the same model to allow for the fitment of extras on the higher spec ones. It’s cheaper to use one loom and have some redundancy than produce many different ones.
Is there a change in floor level nearby? Some MH’s have a small LED strip to identify it at night (Autotrail being one)

raynipper likes this.

Its not the destination that matters.

It's who you share the journey with (even if like me, it’s in a caravan!)
I am very fortunate to have Mrs Plodd to share mine with

Stick a meter on the ends; if you have 12V then congrats....you have the makings of an under-wardrobe fan/light/burglar alarm/damp meter/ anythingelsewotcomestomind.

As they both have female connectors:

Green is normally a fused power cable that is only live when the ignition is switched on.

White is usually an earth wire.

Both can be checked with either a 12v test lamp or a meter.
