Hi everyone ! (from a brand new novice who steps out into the unknown today).

Long story short - we've never owned a MH or even rented one, but we're intent on embarking on a new motorhome lifestyle one-way-or-another. We're going to be using it in Europe for long periods at a time (say 3-6 mths) so we're gravitating to a LHD but, as I'm sure you all know, they appear very far a few between.

It's nearly 3 months since we started looking at as many vehicles as possible and have now reached a consensus in terms budget, layout, make, type, age, etc. We also had a look at buying a Pre-Owned (NOT NEW) from abroad, but like-for-like, they're not quite as competitive as we initially thought and seem to carry many more miles/km on the clock too. However, if anybody does have a link or adds for any used MH sites in Belgium, Germany, Netherlands, Italy etc, would still like to try them out as I think I'm not seeing the right sites?

We have seen a couple of Italian Mobilvetta models between 2004 - 2008 in the UK which we like, but just can't find any real information regarding specific manuals, pdf brochures, servicing, spare parts info etc, in order to glean a balanced view. Mobilvetta.it didn't have anything to offer for older models either. Emailed a couple of spare parts suppliers in the UK who claim the sell almost anything for any model (including Mobilvetta) but it seems these models of any age under 2010 ish are now extinct !!??

Perhaps this is a common theme with older MH's not being supported with replacement spares, which is a shame as I've heard that generally, MH's tend to hold their price very well.

So, I'm hoping that somebody may have previously owned one or even better still, currently have one. One particular model was Huari 1002.

Your thoughts, comments and opinions gratefully appreciated.

Martin :smile2:
