Thank you Jan. How nice of you to say so. Been back in SA for a week or so. Catching up with everything.
I didn't mind the cold as it wasn't too bad in Norfolk between 3 and 8 degrees, Brussels at -1 to 3 was a bit nippy. Is it just me but I felt like I'd had my face in the freezer. I must admit I got the warmest welcome from everyone I met.
I wish I could post a picture that's on my phone of me at the controls of a Piper Warrior. Thank goodness for everyone else only me and Santa in the air on Christmas Day. As the saying goes you're never too old for a new adventure. (OK I was only steering!)
Herman is currently tucked away for the winter, but yes seriously thinking about selling. It would be the right thing to do at this point for lots of reasons, but I'm still in love with it and will cry when it eventually departs down the road without me and trust me, I don't cry easily!
