PLEASE
We already have the “other” thread that has been going for a long time now and we certainly DONT need another one! So please everyone ignore this thread and use JUST the other one.

Thanks

Its not the destination that matters.

It's who you share the journey with (even if it’s in a caravan!) I am very fortunate to have Mrs Plodd to share mine with

As Jan pointed out the OP cannot see the main thread unless they subscribe. As someone who has studied this in detail I would say even if we get a deal you are right to be concerned as I doubt either the Tory party or the EU will have considered the plight of motorhomers.

The biggest issue is the 90 day limit to Schengen. Even with a deal unless it has single market membership and includes Free movement its almost certain you will be restricted to 90 days maximum in any 180 day period. Those are the rules currently. I see no reason or route for the UK to be different to any other third country without single market membership.

As for Visa's it looks likely that we wont need a visa but will still have to file electronically our travel intentions beforehand and I believe there are to be tighter restrictions and applications required for pets well in advance but I am unsure of the details.

Booze limits I think will also be enforced but again it will depend on if we retain access to the Single Market and customs union.

EHIC Card, we dont know but certainly most of the talk lately has been that we will lose it but there are countries outside of the EU I think that do have an arrangement so again it will depend on what is negotiated.

The thing to remember of course is that in any negotiations nobody will give a toss about motorhomers as they are simply not on anyones radar.

Is there still a subscription ? The organisation of the forum seems so poorly coordinated that I remain unsure....

I thought free membership was summat that was suggested to try to attract new members (and hence more advertising numbers).

I may be wrong but.....

Thinking of; Mavis, Ray, Sandra and Albert at this time.

Any comments above are only MY OPINION and should be read as that.

If there is no yellow sign that says subscriber Dave then they are not full members. We have so many one time posters these days if they were full members I'd have 10 pages filled by now

Because only people who have the yellow sign saying they are a subscriber which means they have paid to be members, can see the Subscribers lounge

It isn't in the subscribers lounge though Jan.
