Hi folks, been fighting through the snow here for the last week so research went a little off track but I found some interesting places along the way. Ok here is intro part 2, in 3 parts lol. Part one: My name is Robert L'Croix and yes Jan I still live in Germany, although I now seem to live in every country in Europe 50% of the year, so Hi again. Part two: This ones for you Jan and Sandra. Scarlett is short haired (but she moults like a sheep shearing contest in the summer) and her registered name in the Verein für Deutsche Schäferhunde (SV) e.V. is actually Scarlett O'Hara Gräfin Von Rappacour, Her father was Pruemstien-Koenig Von Russelheim Rappacour and her Mother was Annalissel-Wittel Gräfin Von Hanau, heh heh, try saying that fast, so shes a royal. Sandra I dont know about the UK but in Germany breaders letter the litters in order so she was an S litter, therefore every pup's name starts with S. the rest comes from the breeder, we decided on Scarlett as it suits her well and from the very first day she travelled in the car without any problems, she loves being in Pru, sits behind me or lays out on the seats in the saloon which are covered for her. See pic below thats what shes doing right now, far too chilled out for my liking, she could be cleaning the snow off the windows or something. Part Three: Phew right now on with it. Hum what book? Just for you billplant pictures can be found in my album, just updated a bit as I sit here looking out of the window on a snow covered forest. I thought I had written too much hah! Gretchibald yes they sure do she is a solid runner, not bad for a fiat based body. In Germany they say the translation of FIAT is RUST. Barry I'm not pretending its been easy I often thought of changing the old girl out but couldent do it, softy me, but regular complete services (German engineering standards etc) and as I said a complete new engine and I mean complete, gearbox to battery, and it seems to have done the trick. Underbody is solid and although the exterior looks its age she passes the trial of time. I seem to redecorate or move stuff around inside on a weekly basis, hard to please is me. Just took the Sat dish off the other day, dont like it so going to think of a new approach, saw a Brit van in south France in the summer with a dome sat looks much nicer so I might have a look. PM me with any pointers would be appreciated. Hum maybe it would look too modern on the old girl, the solar system is hidden so it doesnt make any difference to her image lol. Oh now dog is awake and wants to go out in the snow (note GSD pleading look in pic two) maybe I could trade her for a goldfish? so I guess thats it for now folks so I will sign off walk Scarlett and travel on to Poupenhan where I hear there is a nice Aire by the river. TTFN. P.S. So much for the best laid plans, Snow coming down really hard so going to wait it out. But then its south, time for warmer stuff me thinks, anyway pics and things to be added as I go, be safe all and have fun. R
I never camp out overnight. I figure snakes don't sleep in my room, I won't sleep in theirs.
